The walk follows the story from the novel 'De Roeschaard' by Ostend writer Gaston Duribreux.

On her deathbed, Mette tells her son Manjerick that his father did not drown in an accident at sea, but was murdered and thrown overboard. Manjerick sets out to investigate, 20 years after the event, and seeks justice. How does the fishing community react to this and what role does the Roeschaard, the mythical devil, play?
